Your friends are more important to you than

your own mother, aren't they

No of course not, I will cancel

Get rid of that cat, the fur's everywhere

you care more about that cat than your mom

Obviously not true, mama

Your father's always saying someday you'll

realize I'm crazy and take his side, and leave me

Don't be ridiculous, that would never happen

You kept saying it until they all became true

pushed away the love I was giving you

because God forbid it may be shared

Said you held me in the palm of your hand

but eventually I read the lies in the lines

now, here we are, in the future you dreaded.
